Southeast Wyoming

For the terrain views of southeast Wyoming, the first step was to obtain Multi-Spectral Scanner (MSS) false-color images for the area. Then many color modifications were made to make the image closer to the true color of the Wyoming plains and mountains. The result is a stunning near-natural-color representation of this large area.

A wide-ranging view of the Laramie Mountains. This perspective looks more-or-less northwest. The town of Laramie can be seen at the foot of the mountains.

This view is from southwest of Laramie, looking east. Laramie is visible at far left, and you can make out Interstate 80 as it snakes its way east to Cheyenne, near the top-right of the image
